Uh, excuse me, what??
Everything that we’ve ever been told as an entrepreneur revolves around motivation. We have to motivate ourselves, we need to create playlists, collect quotes, visualize, channel our inner dragon slayers, track stats and find new experiences.
Motivation is the general desire or willingness to do something, so what do we do when we don’t feel like doing anything? What happens when motivation goes out the window? What are we supposed to rely on to handle business?
All of these questions have led me to have a rather controversial opinion: motivation doesn’t matter.

If motivation is a feeling, and we can be sure that our feelings will change, how can it be that important? Can you bet the future of your business on your feelings being in the right place?
In the below video I outline my reasons for believing that motivation doesn’t matter, and I share what I think matters more.
